OWN TO OBTAIN (Myth of Omega #9) PAPERBACK

This read is unique in the way it was written, little magic and a lot of personal strife to overcome. There are moments of true human doubt and misunderstanding that give this read more gravity than the other two series. The heart wants what the heart wants, but if the mind is not a willing participant, love is in doubt. This read shows the ability to overcome even the bleakest expectation the mind conjures. Great read.

It’s hard to even describe how much i’ve loved this series - I’ve even managed to read all nine books in just over a week!! The world building was done so well, and I love the way this series approaches the Alpha-Omega dynamics. It’s all just done so so well and I’m sad to have reached the end of it but at least I can now go back and revisit each trilogy with a full appreciation of it!

So glad Kardos redeemed himself in the book!! Excellent series but soooo many unanswered new questions! Really hoping there's more characters written about from this series!

Well the author managed to turn my opinion around, not something easily done mind you! I enjoyed it from start to finish and would read more from this author. Also side note, they have a potion for EVERYTHING but hair growth?

This is the final book in the Mythh of Omega series and you finally finds out what happened with Shaya and Kardos. I have to say that I loved the 9 books, specially Drocco/Cailyn story but Shaya is special because she evolves from a very innocent and naive girl to a confident omega in search of her freedom. I hope Zoey will write another trilogy in this universe.

I usually just get the first free book and hardly ever buy the second or the third book. This time I couldn't buy them fast enough. :D I absolutely loved all the books (especially Kardos ones) and I'm truly hoping you will write more Alpha stories.

Loved this series. I often get the first free book in a series but very rarely buy the subsequent ones. This one I couldn’t stop reading and bought the last two in the series. I found the dark punishments very hard to accept but the love and nurturing that was otherwise their relationship was beautiful, and sexy. I do wonder how the children will cope with the punish to survive beliefs, but guess finishing the series at that point was wise. Good read - buy it.

In this book, we come to the conclusion of Kardos and Shaya's story. There are a lot of unexpected events in this last book of their trilogy and a lot of open relationships to launch new stories from. I can't wait to see where Zoey takes Myth of Omega from here.
As I've previously stated on this series, if you prefer your romances with roses and candlelight, stay away from this series. If you like it on the darker side, you'll love it! Above all, remember this is fiction and written for your enjoyment. I really enjoyed reading it and I can't wait to start on the next one!

I'm so sad this series ended but I'm so happy I got it. One of the best series of books I've ever read, hands down. This final installment has me crying in all the good ways. Grumpy alljas and quiet but strong omegas. I love it. I will definitely be keeping these on my Kindle to revisit.

Kudos to Zoey Ellis. The entire Omega series was a wonderful surprise. I would highly recommend it to everyone who truly are fans of adventure, excitement and adult romance. I fell in love with the characters and hated to leave their world.

OK; I can say that I don’t hate Kardos anymore!
I was so happy when he finally opens up and shows some vulnerability to his Omega. Finally they were team and perfect Alpha-Omega couple. I just have no more words to say, just I am going to enjoy this nice bittersweet feeling…

This book was a look intense i was practically panicking. I was almost for sure i was going to be left without a happy ending.

Poor Kardos has been prejudiced against for his light features all by a tribe from his people who are covering up the truth of AzEshra. It was heartbreaking.

He finds an answer to be leader of the southern Isles AND win his Omega so that she is not left behind like his mother was. The results were so devastating for Shaya. So devastating that she finds a way to escape with her sister. And right when she escapes, she's about to leave forever, Kardos comes for her.

He's surrounded by warriors ready to kill him and an Omega ready to leave through some shimmering portal.

I won't tell you the sweetest way that he explains AND wins her over. It's way too good to tell. Then they go back to the Southern Isles to help with the storms that are coming and all an assassination on him and a covered up plot. They save the Southern Isles all with a baby on the way. With potentially leaving room for a story about Kardos parents and a couple of sweet, supporting characters.

I really enjoyed this series. Fell in love with the Alphas and strong Omegas!!!!! I could not stop reading one book after another so grateful i dint have to wait for the next book!!! Truly loved this series!!!!!!!

Sad that this is the last book in this world :( I have all nine books in her omegaverse and now that she's completed writing in this world, I'm completely disappointed. I looked forward to each book in this series. I request and wish that Ms. Ellis would maybe do short stories in this realm??. Love your series!!

This was the best in Kardos & Shaya's story: action-packed, anti-hero somewhat redeemed, mystery solved. Even though the bond dulling was affecting her, I was so glad that Shaya sent Kardos into a panic with her portal jump. Liked the people on his end giving him a tongue lashing for his behavior, too. I mean, if you're more extreme than your father, chief of the Southern Lands, you may need to chill out a bit. And omg, I had a suspicion-confirmed- about a plot bunny related to Kardos' parents, and I hope this isn't the last we've heard about it!

Once Kardos finally started listening and understanding, there was progress in their relationship, helped along by Kyus. Which, I'd love to hear more about her and Elion, too! I liked the characters from past books making an appearance and getting in on this Southern Lands' Alpha & Omega drama. By the end, I was content that Kardos wasn't going to continue steamrolling over every objection & opinion of Shaya in their future.

I'd also like to explore more of the unknown lands, and follow up on Treska & Zolt :D

I waited for what seemed like an eternity for this final chapter in the Own Trilogy and Zoey Ellis did not disappoint me.
The journey of our Alpha/Omega couple continues as we see Kardos delayed by his father as he attempts to rush after Shaya and bring her home. The High Chief insists Kardos must be ‘announced’ to the people of the Southern Lands as the next High Chief before the blizzards hit and before he can go and retrieve his Omega mate, Shaya. Kardos agrees grudgingly.
During this time, Shaya, aided by her sister Kyus seeks to find a way to hide from Kardos who she thinks will punish her severely for running from him.
Shaya and Kardos are reunited within the palace walls of Emperor Drocco and his Omega Empress Cailyn. The touching and heartfelt speech given by Kardos as he is on his knees in supplication to Shaya for all to see, proves to her once and for all that he does truly love her and the two of them return to the Southern Lands just as the blizzard season begins.
There are many more plot twists that you won’t be ready for, but I’m pleased to report that at least our couple are together for the majority of this final book!
The worlds that this author has created are nothing short of spectacular! Zoey Ellis has truly mastered the craft of visually descriptive world building.
There are graphically descriptive scenes contained within that make this book a definite 18+ read.
We of course end our journey with a very joyous HEA!

This was a good book. I felt this series was short. But then I realized it just went fast. Shaya does start off annoying in the series but she definitely grows up.

ABSOLUTELY LOVE THIS COUPLE and this book, especially the 2nd half of the book when Kardos has his time of reckoning. Kneeling before Shaya, Kardos explains himself to her and I ABSOLUTELY swooned. After that monologue, I would forgive him too lol. I was wondering how Zoey was going to redeem Kardos and boy did she deliver!!! Definitely going to read this again and again just to see Kardos say Come to me little bird... I also loved when Drocco and Cailyn made an appearance. Great read!!!!!
P.S Kyus and Elion definitely need a novella.

Great conclusion to the world and triology. From first to last, you see great character development, especially from Kardos. He was so raw and hardheaded to begin with, but when he starts to see the value of Dhaya, it's beautiful.

Shaya grew into a strong female character. It was nice to see her interact with her sister again. Plus, it was good to revisit other characters from the prior books. Must read!

I thought the characters were beautifully written and a great continuation from 'Own to Obsess'. I felt that no time had pasted from Book 2 to Book 3, and the characters took me away on their story from the first page.
Honestly, initially I wasn't the biggest fan of Kardos and his behaviour from Book 1 and 2, but in book 9 Zoey really unpacked Kardos as a character further, allowing the reader (and Shaya) to really understand the actions Kardos has taken in the past. The love Kardos felt for Shaya really shone through in the book, and boy did she make him work for it!
I think Zoey did an amazing job in concluding this epic love story for these characters. This book is a definite reread for me...actually if I'm honest the whole Myth of Omega series is a reread for me- I enjoyed it that much.
Also, I am voluntarily reviewing an advanced copy of this book.

But anyway... over all- 100% recommend you purchase this amazing book (and the rest of the Myth of Omega series) and enjoy the ride!

This book is the last of a trilogy inside of a saga, it definitely cannot be read as a standalone but reading the whole saga is definitely worth your time.

Shaya finally managed to dull the bond and escape Kardos to return to her sister. She's finally free again but why does she feel like everything around her is gray and colorless? The only times she seems to feel alive are when Kardos visits her in her dreams and that terrifies her but what's the damage on fantasizing with him every night? It isn't as if he's going to find out, is he? Kardos is outraged. His Shaya fled from him at the same time as he achieved what he had been pursuing for years, and all thanks to her. All his dreams have come true but yet he doesn't feel like he wants to ejerce as the high chief of the southern lands, he just wants Shaya back. She knows he will not stop looking for her but only because she's an Omega, not for herself, or so she thinks, and she can't go back to him but how far is she willing to go to escape him? He wants to go after her more than anything but his people needs him and he can't neglect them. The weight of his title is heavier than he thought and without his omega he doesn't know if he can do it. He will move Earth and heaven to find her and prove that she's his, she will move Earth and heaven to escape him and the suffering he brings to her but in a battle of wills who will win? Can he convince her to go with him and stay with him voluntarily?

A dark romance that joins two people from different cultures and brings them together in the most unexpected circumstances.

I have been impatiently waiting for Own to Obtain and Zoey Ellis did not disappoint! Shaya, confused about what she’s feeling from Kardos, creates a portal and leaves Kardos and Tribe Nyek behind. Kardos will stop at nothing until he’s reunited with his Omega. I loved reading their story and catching up with the other Myth of Omega couples. I’m so sad this series has come to an end!

This is the final story in the trilogy of Kardos and Shaya and the last in the Omega series. I loved this book and the story of how they finally found each other through understanding and love. I really didn’t like Kardos at the start of the series as I thought he was too cruel, but at last he let his barriers down to show his love for Shaya and the reasons behind his actions becomes clear. The book still leaves unanswered questions in relation to other couples and the horsemen of the unknown lands so hopefully (please?) there will be more books in the future. I can’t wait to see what the author brings out next!

First I have to say this series was fantastic and I devoured all nine books. The Alpha and Omega type novels of the heterosexual kind are very few in numbers and some of my favorite type of books. If your looking to get lost in a brazen story about an alpha male seeking his mate that won't stay where he put her...this is it.

I loved Kardos and Shaya's story best because she was able to turn the tables on him repeatedly. I doubt very seriously that Kardos would have gained anything without the strength of Shaya and this ending proves it. She was so strong to get through all the cultural and language barriers and still defied Kardos. She had a huge strength of character that made her feel like his match even though he still filled her Alpha needs. For me, this story was what a true Alpha and Omega are capable of.

I am really sad though that the author feels the need to end this series since it was beautifully done. I look forward to see what Zoey Ellis does when she steps outside her omegaverse box. Until then... great series!

I gave the entire series a five star of excellence! I loved them all!

As Shaya’s sister, Kyus, ‘rescues’ her from Kardos, they spend their time on the run sharing information about their early lives and being Omegas, and using portals to try and throw him off their trail. But, she finds life without him to be literally gray and empty. But because she also believes that he only wanted her to help him gain the High Chief position, she is resigned to her fate of pain and emptiness in order to be away from him and his punishments. When Kardos comes to her in her dreams, she feels the need for him and craves that connection to him. Their bond transcends the distance and he tells her that he has no intention of letting her go-she is his. As he tracks her down, both Malloron and Drocco (and their Omegas) give their input on how to handle his situation with his Omega. Even though this is the third of the trilogy and we get our happy ending, the author has still left a clue at the end of the book that could open it up for another adventure in the Lands. I’m hoping for it!

I am so sad this trilogy is over, I loved Kardos and Shaya. They might be my favorite Alpha & Omega duo! This book is steamy in all the right places. It kept me in the edge of my seat, I couldnt put it down...I had to know what was coming next! Zoey outdid herself, but I expect nothing less from such an amazing author. I think i know who's story is next...and least I hope I'm right...but whatever the future holds, I can wait!

holy moly!!!! i'm going to be going through some serious withdrawals!! i'm so sad to see this last book of the series! Zoey Ellis is absolutely one of my favorite omegaverse authors!!! i just cant get enough of these alpha men. she has an amazing ability of writing characters who the readers can't help but fall in love with. now i'm just looking ahead to seeing what Ms. Ellis will come up with next :) :)
