Having little mentions in books 2 and 3 made the homecoming all the sweeter with this pair. I don't know which I love more, the men or their dragons. The chemistry is in tune with the characters and the couple are a dynamic pair. Loved it!

I LOVED Uraya! She kicks ass and take names. Just what our anti-hero need.

Zoey Ellis has written one of my favourite series. Of course I can't wait for the last one. The development of each one of the characters. I loved Sethorn his character was totally enjoyable
I loved these characters with their witty banter and hot steamy sex scenes. Of course I am looking forward to the last one of this series.

In this book Zoey went all out writing an arrogant Alpha with a god complex. The dubcon was pretty serious too. Unlike the other Alphas in their harems, this one has definitely been fully using his harem (except for the past 2 months🤡), which I found pretty realistic. The heroine, Uraya, was likable. I enjoyed her spirit, and how the author gave her talents that would make her not just a valuable mate, but future member of the clan. A criticism I have is that I wanted to read more about the MMC's dragon ~ I enjoyed that from the last book, and I'm hopeful we'll get more stuff about the dragon in the next book.

If you're looking for MF omegaverse smut with a possessive alphahole and dubcon, I recommend this. While a standalone, it's best if you've at least read book

Gosh this book is by far the juiciest. So many new details have emerged. This is a full on adventure with many many twists and turns and surprises popping up. New paths and secrets being unraveled. Uraya is by far the most stubborn dragorai female.. which makes her perfect for Sethorn. Lord. Obviously the smut is OFF THE CHARTS HOT. I thoroughly enjoyed all the spicy notions. Gosh all th men are just so full of themselves and then a woman comes along and they are just so forceful and possessive. Beyond. This series takes the trophy for possessive alphas ! Hands down. I couldn't believe what Sethorn did in the war room with everyone in there watching. He definitely seemed like he would never show attention and let women do all the work. He definitely was greedy and openly showed his Aspen. Now the end gave some clues and some cool hints that will find out many things in the next book and I can not wait! I love the series. This one is the best so far. The rivalry and resistance are sinfully good. Tensions run high. There's a perfect couple in this story. Both characters are really strong. An explosive series that started out bumpy but was worth it to hang on.

Sethorn is cockier than his brothers, and to be honest going in, I didn’t think I’d like him at all based on what I knew about him, but I LOVED him! Uraya is amazing! She doesn’t need him that’s for sure, but they are explosive together!

This was definitely a book I got into.
Sethorn is one of those types that you absolutely hate because of his arrogance yet it seems that there is always more to the story. Oh don't get me wrong, he declare that Uraya will bend and beg him but she is a spitfire and is a challenge to his sanity.
The battle of the wits with these two make for one really great story that I could not get enough of.

The author really captures you're attention and does not leave you bored for one moment.
Loved this one and look forward to what is to come.

I love this series more with every installment. I can already tell I’ll be inconsolable when it ends because I won’t have more to look forward to. There’s just something about Zoey Ellis. She’s brilliant and magical and that translates into beautiful words and enchanted universes that are unrivaled. This book is dark and wonderful and compelling and captivating and enthralling and utterly delicious. I tried so hard to pace myself and leave more of the book for later but the characters wouldn’t let me rest until I’d read every decadent word. Love this series and highly suggest reading it in order. The story is filled with action, adventure and danger. Magic is used for good and bad as the dragorai try to end the queen and the evil and destruction she has brought to their realm as well as her own. Now they have one who knows the queen well but she also wants help saving someone. Uraya will butt heads with Sethorn from the start. She will hate him and crave for him. The story has some pretty intense and hot moments between them. Their relationship is not one of sweetness and she will not bend for anyone

This series wonderful and about five brothers. This one is about Sethorn and Uraya. They are both strong and have poi and that makes them a better couple. It was a great storyline and the characters pull you into their journey. This was a favorite!.

I'm really enjoying this series of stand-alones. There is that overall story arc that reads through all the books in this series as the main male characters are brothers through their dragons not blood. (How else would you be a brother?!🤔) But it's nice to read a story that isn't a trilogy or a duet. It seems everything lately has to be that way and there is nothing wrong with that is the character and story deserves that. I just appreciate an author like ZEllis, who in the past wrote series books, didn't feel the need to push each of these characters stories into multiple books just because that is what she didn't in the past. She let's her work speak for itself and it does.

It tells its story very well not only continuing on moving the overall arc plot, but telling the story of the dragon brother finally finding a mate, a female he is able to breed with. Like his brothers, they thought all the females of their species were long dead like all female dragons - hunted down and used for their magic. But likany omega, she is going to feisty and a hard one to win over.

Yes this is a standalone, but it makes more sense if read in order as there are some events that take place after books 2 and 3.

This was another delicious entry for a series that never fails to tantalize and raise your temperature. I enjoyed Uraya and Sethorn's book. The writing is well done, the darkness is lush, the story is enticing and engaging, the tension is thick and the heat simply sizzles. As a whole, just a really good read. This is my unbiased, unsolicited review.

This is the 4th book in this series and for best enjoyment, I do recommend reading them in order. Sethorn is a dragonlord who can make any woman he wants into simpering worshipers but when Uraya shows him defiance, she is the one that he wants. Will he truly help her find her brother or will she become his? Fast-paced read with great world building, loads of drama, suspense and steamy scenes. I loved it.

Uraya's strength lies in her ability to irritate and charm Sethorn in turns. Withholding honest compliments and then sweetly giving in to his demands only makes his stubborness and arrogance rachet up a notch. But it's her connection to his dragon that really cements the knowledge that she is more than what fist glance shows.

Overall I liked this book, but I found the beginning to be very difficult to start. Honestly I didn't start to enjoy the book until I got to around 25%. But I think the reason that I didn't care for it in the beginning was that I hadn't read the other three books in this series. And while I don't think it's absolutely critical to read the others I just felt that there was a lot in the beginning that I just didn't understand. I didn't really get what this war was between the king and the queen, who/what wardens were, what ember is and even to a certain extent what the Dragorai are (I figured that one out first).
But once I got beyond that first 25% I really started to enjoy the book. In fact I would like to go back and read the other three books so I can enjoy this book even more.
I think my favorite part of this book was the female lead, Uraya. I loved that she was a strong female lead, she wasn't willing to give up her independence for Sethorn’s demands. I loved that she was able to getne over on him with the rules that they set with one another. Mostly I enjoyed that she was willing to do anything to save her brother, even trusting the enemy...

This book was SUCH a good time! I haven’t read this series before, but thankfully the installments of this series can be read as standalones without the reader feeling lost. I was fascinated with the way that the author makes her fantasy world and lore in regards to dragons and the Dragorai so unique and expansive. And the enemies to lovers romance? The steam is off the charts, and it won’t be for some, but I was here for it! ⁣

I really enjoy this series. Dragon books have always been a favorite of mine and this series puts a new spin on the dragon rider premise. It should be read in series order for best enjoyment.

Exceptional story and well written. This has been a journey into the dark realm. The series and each character has found their mates and helping their leader find his lost dragon. sethorn And uraya gave finally found each other through their struggles. Would highly recommend this series and author as you will not be disappointed. �

Just finished reading and I can honestly say each book gets better and better! Anxiously and sadly waiting for the 5th and final book in series. Anyone thinking of purchasing should just go ahead and get complete series from get go!!!

This series gets more exciting with each book! Book 4 is about Sethorn and Uraya, who is introduced in the last book. This book overlaps book 3 and the attack on the queen.
In my opinion you really need to have read at least the last book to follow and to really enjoy this series start from book 1.

Sethorn is the intellectual dragorai, still all alpha, and quite conceited. Having been pursued, adored, idolized and obsessed over for centuries, he is wholly unprepared for Uraya. She is indifferent to him and doesn't understand what the fuss is all about.

Really enjoyed how much Uraya took Sethorn down a peg by withholding compliments!
