“How do you intend to find her now?” Torin asked, as they marched out of the dungeon where the hacked and mutilated bodies of the Lox Talent-crafters lay strewn on the blood-pooled floor. “I know you don’t want to have anything to do with the Talent now, Drocco, but they were our best chance of understanding how she could be hiding or traveling.”

Drocco gripped the handle of his dripping axe tighter, glaring unseeingly down the corridor and ignoring the pain still aching in his shoulder. It had been the only thing that had stopped him from personally executing the Talent-crafters earlier. His shoulder had needed to be treated, patched up, and given time to heal. Over those days, the Talent-crafters deduced that Malloron’s spell destroyed all of the Talent-disabling charms in the palace. But that information did not save them. “They were not our best chance for anything,” Drocco said, his voice hard. “They were not as skilled as Malloron, and I have no use for Talent-crafters who are lesser skilled than my enemies.”

“You gave them three hours to examine that spell, Drocco,” Torin said, evenly. “They asked for at least a week.”

“That is of no consequence!” Drocco bellowed, his anger spiking. “They were simply not skilled enough. We need crafters who can protect us from him.”

“Agreed,” Torin said, his voice low. “But now we have no protection at all.”

Drocco halted abruptly and turned to him. “That spell could have killed my Omega, Torin. It could have killed me. It could have done unimaginable things to everyone in this palace. It could have disabled the entire Lox army and left the Empire defenseless.”

“Then you should have waited for their assessment,” Torin replied, his gray eyes boring into Drocco’s. “I know you don’t want to hear it, Drocco, but your eagerness for answers is what caused this.”

Drocco stepped closer to him, a dangerous glint in his eyes. “The Talent-crafters admitted that they wouldn’t have been able to deduce the effects of the spell before it was cast. They couldn’t even recreate it in the five days it took to treat my shoulder. No matter when I used it, it would have had the same result, except my Omega may have been pregnant or bonded to me instead, which would have been worse!” The thought drove his anger to a hot peak. “They failed in their duty to the Lox Empire and they suffered the consequences. Do you disagree?”

Torin was quiet. “No.”

Drocco turned and continued to march down the corridor, determined to do whatever necessary to find Cailyn.

His fury could be felt across the entire Empire. Households were searched, carriages were stopped, buildings and factories were destroyed, citizens were questioned fiercely and some imprisoned. The Lox descended upon every territory within the Eastern Lands intent on watching everyone and everything, and citizens did not respond well to it, particularly those still loyal to the late King of Ashens. Protests began, and although they were stamped out almost immediately, deaths occurred.

Drocco didn’t give a fuck. He wanted Cailyn back. If every single person in the Eastern Lands had to die for that to happen, so be it.

I loved this story. Both characters evolve and begin to find a way to each other. We learn a lot more about Drocco’s history which explains where he is coming from and discover some interesting information about Cailyn.
Grab this quick. Watch your timing. Once you start you won’t be able to stop (yes, I can prove it since once I started I wasn’t able to stop). You’ll laugh and cry and cheer them on.

There needs to be an option to give more than 5 stars! This is one of the best series I have ever read in any genre....the story in captivating. I tried to stop reading it to prolong it but that did not work! I couldn't put it down.

Drocco.... what to do with you? Didn't you learn the first time? Being all dark and deadly can only get you so far. Some lightness and softness is needed if you want Caitlyn to come to you willingly. On the other hand, deviousness and dread are your personality. How can you really overcome the possessive nature that grips you and forces your hand into one direction? Book 2 in the trilogy is even more foreboding but bring on that dread!

On the prepice, again, of joining, the omega makes an unwise decision. No tension, just utter frustration. I get the Alpha will always do whatever it takes to find his true mate, but when she runs and rejects at every turn. Gah, I am pulling my hair out.

I've Been Waiting So Long For a series that would capture me and hold me under. That it would be the only thing I could think about. This is it! Crave to Capture is right on the line of brilliant, a few typos keep it from crossing the finish line. The content, however, is a quicksand read. I was only going to read the first chapter at 11:00 PM...
Not only does it have a myriad of settings, but the characters' moods are back and forth; and sometimes you're for the alpha and other times the omega seems more plausible. But you'll always be right in the grip of the conflict between Cailyn and Drocco, and you won't want to move. The way Zoey Ellis grapples with these two - you can feel the tension between the characters, but also the characters with their author. I suspect it wasn't an easy novel to write. These are the first two I've read of her works. I have the first 6 of this 9 book series. She has me craving to see where her mind takes me. It will be a brilliant ride, I'm sure!

Can't recommend enough If you love the omegaverse then buy this book. Loved the series.

I’ve really enjoyed this series so far. Book 1 hooked me & in less than a week I’ve finished book 2 & now book 3. Happy to see there are still more books in this series to enjoy.

I have read this series in a set. It is a dark read so beware. I personally like dark books and this was an excellent read! Couldn't put it down!

I love the anti-hero Drocco in this series but I am SO NOT feeling the heroin. For someone who's "trained" as a spy she a little too weak kneed for me. But the series has me hooked.

I REALLY didn't want to like this series, but not only was I sucked in but I then got invested in the actual plot and needed to know how it ended. I applaud the author for writing a book that I dislike on a moral level (man was it brutal at times) but was still interested enough to see it through to the end.

Better and better OK, the 2nd part was better than the first one! Less dark parts but really emotional! I love the heroin, she's becoming a badass in her way and the two of them come closer <3

I’m officially obsessed with this series. This had me on the edge of my seat. I couldn’t put it down. I read it in one sitting. I neglected everything. This was my second book by this author and Now I’ve decided she is a one click auto buy author now.

Amazing author and I love her series! You can be sure that the main character's story is completed at the end of each one. I can highly suggest each of the Myth of the Omega books . You will not be disappointed!

Could I not fantasize anything Zoey writes amazing and never ending need to read and fall in love with these amazing stories but I need MORE

This is not my typical genre of reading. I just happened across it and thought I would give it a try. I’m very glad I did. Ms. Ellis has created a very interesting storyline. The characters are well thought out is easy to follow. I will continue to read her other books.

Great continuation from book 1. We get to see where Cailyn is taken to and the lengths Drocco will take to find her and get her back. I once again really enjoyed reading about the Omega/Alpha connection once again and just experiencing a more vulnerable Drocco through reading more about his past. There's always lots going on besides the sex (which I really enjoy) that I appreciate having in her books. Ends in a cliffhanger.

Love this series

This book was a nice break from some of the more repeated cliches and tropes. Ellis kept me guessing and moved the story along quick enough to keep me entranced in Cailyn and Drocco’s story. Plus the steamy and cute scenes were amazing. Well done!

Oh my goodness I devoured this book in a matter of hours. I cannot wait to dive into the next installment. I tried to not be suspicious about the Mothers, but they really were shady and Drocco brought up excellent points. I can't wait to find out what happened. I hope Drocco can find Cailyn and bring her home.

Drocco and Cailyn, a turbulent mating of lies, deception and spy activities that bring suspension to the story. I know the Alpha / Omega relationship often have climax with suspense. Suspense encourage the reader to continue to read to the end . Crave to Capture brought intrigue, awareness, and a rollercoaster of emotions. Now onto the next book for the outcome to Drocco and Cailyn.

I am loving this series, its easy to read and understand. Very good plot line. I couldn't put this book down.

I am loving this difficult love story between Caitlyn and Drocco. The both have childhood trauma. And the Omegas have been lying to all the Omega children. It makes poor Caitlyn confused.

Through being kidnapped and spending more time with Drocco, she realizes how beautiful the Alpha-Omega connection is. But it took a LOT of drama and tears to get that way. I can't wait for the Omega mothers to pay for their lies.

After reading the 1st book i needed more and now i need the 3rd book loveed every minute what's there to dislike its so great

I started this sequel of Crave To Conquer thinking there was no way Drocco could redeem himself. In fact, I enjoyed how he was going nuts over Cailyn's escape. And like a true Alpha, he went all out as he traced her to his enemy, King Malloron's, kingdom. This brought some new & recurring characters into the story: Malloron, Amara (mentioned in #1), and more Torin. Even though I still couldn't stand Drocco at this point, I liked seeing him become more crafty in his efforts to get Cailyn back, though of course liked how Cailyn then had to find ways to outwit him even more.

Drocco still annoyed me with his attempts to justify how he'd treated Cailyn back at his palace.

I won't spoil anything, but after their time in Cailyn's cabin, I was A-OK with them being together. But of course it can't be THAT easy, in more ways than one: this was also a cliffhanger AND my library has a waiting list for the final installment :(

I can't wait to see how this pans out. Definite character development in this book and it has me curious about what will happen to the omega community.

Dark romance at its finest!! I enjoy a dark romance that is purely fantastical and a little on the edge of forbidden. And this book all of that and more!

Loved this series. Enjoyed the first book so much I bought the second right away. Zoey Ellis keep them coming. You are now on my favorite list of authors to read. This is not an ARC review, I truly enjoyed this story. It pulls you in and doesn’t let go until the last page and now I can’t wait to find out what comes next. Definitely buying the next book in the series. Love the Omegaverse!

I still don't like drocco and I feel bad for Cailyn the way he treated her , and I think Drocco is starting to realize this . Great book.

Furious at the attempted escape of his Omega, Drocco determines to break her completely. Full of dark, dominant/submissive drama. This book is very steamy and erotic.

Absolutely loved it. Waiting for Drocco to figure himself out in this one. Still feels my attqched to Cailyns heartaches.

This book continues the story of Cailin and Rocco and it's a terrific journey. Zoey Ellis is an excellent story teller and her books are well written and edited. Highly recommend Crave to Capture to all dark romance fans.
